Durga Thakur from Ek Hasina Thi. It was a performance-oriented, intense role, and it was a very different character to play as an actor.

One thing you wish you knew 5 years ago.

I wish I knew the answer to this question!

How do you dress when you’re not working?

When I'm not working, I'm very casually dressed – a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.

One trend you never liked.

I don't like the word trend because trends are temporary and I don't believe in that.

Your idea of the perfect weekend.

My idea of a perfect weekend is dinner, because I love eating outside food, followed by a movie.

The song that tops your playlist.

The song that tops my playlist these days is "Aao kabhi haveli pe" from the movie Stree.

Your favourite movie quote.

“Basanti, in kutto ke samne mat nachna!” from Sholay.

The strangest thing you have ever eaten.

What is the most interesting thing in your purse?

My mobile phone, because it has all my secrets! ;)

The most fun vacation you have been on?

The girls trip which I recently did in Greece. That was my first girls trip, and I have realised that going out with your girl friends is loads of fun.

If you were stuck on an island and could take only 3 things, what would you take?

My phone, my earphones so I can listen to music, and food.

If you could have any super power what would it be, and why?

I would have a superpower of making every tomorrow the best tomorrow.

If you could switch places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

I would like to switch places with Ranveer Singh and take Deepika Padukone out for a date.

What’s your skincare regime like? Any go-to products?

Eat right, drink loads of water, apply sunscreen when you're stepping out of your house, and just stay happy. Go-to products are sunblock, blush and lip balm.

How do you stay fit?

The whole world knows that I don't work out! I really don't know the secret behind staying fit; I eat everything from pani puri and pav phaji to chicken and mutton. I think I have a high metabolism, and sometimes I do yoga.

What is the best advice given to you, and who gave it?

The best advice, given by my mum, is to respect everyone, especially elders, and stay positive. It has helped me a lot, as wherever and for however long people meet me, they understand my vibe. I stay positive and respectful towards everyone.

If you had all the money in the world, what would you buy?

I don't think money can buy happiness, so I don't want all the money in the world. But if I had all the money in the world, I would travel the whole world and keep travelling all my life.

An experience that changed your life completely.

Every day there is some experience which helps me grow as a person. I haven’t had one which has changed my life drastically, but many incidences have helped me evolve as a person.

3 things on your life bucket list.

Working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali; dancing with Hrithik Roshan; and acting with Aamir Khan.

Your thoughts on Aza.

I want to wish Aza a very happy 13th anniversary. Keep shinning. I personally had a mind-blowing experience working with Aza because the theme is very young and vibrant and Devangi herself is such a darling. The experience has been really really cool. Happy 13th Anniversary Aza!
